On our SEL mailing list, our SEL Services Coordinator, Nic van Oss, recently announced the creation of a new PreK version of the Be Good People curriculum! This has been requested by teachers in our member districts since Be Good People launched in 2020, and it's thrilling that it's finally here!
Nic recently had the privilege of joining Melanie Stever's class at Chisago Lakes Primary School to see the lessons in action! Melanie was a fantastic collaborator as Nic was creating the materials, and once it was released she began piloting it right away. While her preschool students practiced social scenarios, Melanie assigned actors, directors 🎬, and other roles to involve students in the learning. So cute, so creative. What a wonderful teacher!
